Still in a bit of a slump.

Rosemary is actually rehash of an old character from my previous webcomic.  Her design is originally from Rosa the Red, except now Rosa the Red is Rosemary’s mother.  Rosa is now using a design inspired by a different Rosa,  called Rosalina who originally was supposed to be the yellow rose.

One of the older story ideas was for a family of elves running an inn and tavern called the Thorny Rose Inn, run by the three Roses,  Rosa the Red as the red rose because of the red hair. Rosalina as the Yellow Rose, being blonde haired, and Rosachiko as the White Rose,  being a more platinum blonde.    There would have been an honorary “Black Rose” as the human black haired friend.  That character was never really finished, but had several prototype designs that loosely became Thyme anyway.
